Yemen: ANHRI Announces Its Full Solidarity with the Journalist Samia Aghbari Against the Campaign of Defaming Her

The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information (ANHRI), today, announces its full solidarity with the journalist Samia Aghbari against the furious campaign of defaming her on the background of some peaceful opinions.
Aghbari is exposing to a furious campaign that aims to defame, slander, image her as a traitor and infidel in addition to threatens her as well as pitting the people against her since Sunday 31 December 2012 on the background of delivering a speech in the Governorate of “Dale’” in the 10th anniversary of the murdering of the Assistant Secretary-General of the Yemen Communist Party “Gar Allah Omar” on the hands of an extremist. In which said that “the ugly triple; religion, military and tribe destroyed our dreams in building a democratic state and killed Gar Allah Omar and before him the president “El-Hamdi”. She added in another position of her speech “the socialist party doesn’t exploit the need of people by some rice or sugar”. The Islamic Reforms Youth have expressed their anger because of this speech which increased with the mentioning that the socialist party doesn’t use rice and sugar as a mean to win the masses.
